Thiruvananthapuram YMCA Conducts Basic Life Support Training Program in Collaboration with IMA Thiruvananthapuram YMCA's Public Health and Social Services Department organized a Basic Life Support training program on February 8 in collaboration with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Thiruvananthapuram Branch. The program aimed to equip individuals with essential skills in saving lives and to promote a safer and more responsible community. The training program included instruction in basic life support techniques including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and choking care, enabling participants to respond effectively in emergency situations. Expert doctors from IMA, Pradeep Kidangoor, Dr., and Arun Mohan, Dr., led the training program.
